Etosha National Park - A Self Drive Safari

The 8,600 square mile Etosha National Park is home to both widespread and extremely uncommon animal species. You might be fortunate enough to see elephants, critically endangered black rhinos, lions, giraffes, and perhaps even leopards on your self-drive tour. Zebras and antelope will undoubtedly be seen grazing close to the road, as well. More than 340 different bird species live there, including ostriches and flamingos.

Early mornings, around sunset, and during the night are the best times to recognize wildlife in the park. During the dry months, the floodlit waterholes at the camps move close by animals for the unimaginable survey. The lions of Etosha utilize the waterholes to hydrate as well as to go after clueless animals.

Etosha National Park is one of the top traveler objections in Namibia so high-level convenience appointments are suggested during the bustling season. The additional time you spend passing through the park, the better your possibility of spotting wildlife!
